From May 13 to 15, the highly anticipated 2026 (13th) Water Supply Conference was grandly held in Changsha. As a highly influential industry event in China’s water supply and drainage sector, this year’s conference brought together numerous leading water utilities, experts, scholars, and upstream and downstream suppliers. During the three-day exhibition, Wangkun Pipe Industry’s booth, located in the core exhibition area, attracted a large crowd. The company highlighted its series of double-compression stainless steel pipes and fittings, which are widely used in secondary water supply, urban water supply and drainage, and gas transmission systems. On-site technicians conducted precise cutting and crimping demonstrations to vividly illustrate the advantages of the core “pickling and passivation” process to visitors—by forming a dense passivation film, this process significantly enhances the pipes’ corrosion resistance, ensuring a “70-year lifespan” for water supply pipelines and the safety and hygiene of water quality.
